In keeping with the Elliott Museum’s focus on innovation and creativity, the Studio at the Elliott provides a ideal environment for our community’s new artists to discover their hidden talent and learn. Aspiring and skilled artists will be provided the guidance and environment to refine their craft.

The atmosphere in The Studio is positive and nurturing. Artists/instructors provide encouragement to help you unlock the creativity within you.

We offer professional instruction in the visual and fine arts for all ages and skill levels.

Art classes include painting (in oil, water or acrylic), drawing, sculpting, ceramics and a variety of arts and crafts. The Studio offers a schedule of year-round instruction, open studio time and a popular Summer Camp for kids.

And there’s even more in store when the New Elliott Museum opens its doors! The new facility’s art gallery will host exhibitions of local, national and international artists, as well as traveling shows from the Smithsonian and other notable institutions. The expanded art and teaching studio will accommodate an enhanced array of classes, workshops and lectures, including our day camps in art, invention and circus performance!
