$25 Student Membership
Available only to local college and high school students and Includes:
- Unlimited complimentary general admission to the Elliott Museum and The House of Refuge Museum at Gilbert’s Bar for one year.
- Personalized membership card valid for one year.
- Opportunity to volunteer at either Museum.

$35 Individual
Individual members receive:
- Unlimited complimentary general admission to the Elliott Museum and The House of Refuge Museum at Gilbert’s Bar for one year.
- Advance notice and admission to monthly programs for one year.
- 10% discount in both Museum Stores.
- One-year subscription to “Inspiring Times,” the Historical Society’s newsletter.

$50 Family
Family members receive all of the above benefits, plus:
- Admission to the Elliott Museum and House of Refuge for spouse, children and grandchildren (under 15 years of age)
- Two free guest admission passes to either museum (excluding special events)
SPECIAL FAMILY CATEGORY: Students between the ages of 15 and 25 and individuals whose family address is more than 100 miles from the museums may join at the Family Level for $40.

Collector’s Circle and Support Group
Membership Opportunities
$250 Sustainer
Sustainers receive all the above benefits, plus:
- Collector’s Circle exclusive exhibition previews
- Eight free guest admission passes to either museum (excluding special events)
- Two complimentary tickets to the Elliott Annual Vintage Car Show
Friends receive all the above benefits, plus
- 25 free guest admission passes to either museum (excluding special events).
Benefactors receive all the above benefits, plus
- unlimited guest admissions to either museum, with the member present.
NOTE: A portion of your membership may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax preparer for deductibility. The full amount of your membership may be deductible, if you notify the Society in writing that you do not wish to receive benefits.
Special Interest Support Opportunities
The Historical Society of Martin County offers special opportunities for those who wish to underwrite specific events or activities. One popular option is the Car Club Membership, outlined below. Another option is to sponsor an art class or a field trip to one of our museums for a school group.
$150 Car Club Membership
- Entitles the member to all the benefits of a regular Patron Membership, plus:
- Free admission for the member to the Elliott Annual Vintage Car Show
- Notification of all auto-related shows, events and news

Join Our Legacy Society
Estate planning is becoming an increasingly popular method for individuals to achieve their philanthropic goals. It’s also a wonderful way to support the causes that you are passionate about, while leaving a legacy of your own.
At the Historical Society of Martin County, we welcome the opportunity to work with you to coordinate a variety of planned giving options, including life insurance, charitable gift annuities, bequests, charitable remainder trusts, retirement fund designations, stock transfer donations, retained life gifts of real estate and other non-cash donations. We can also provide you with suggested wording for bequests, for use in your will.
