Did you know the principles behind rack & pinion steering were developed with Sterling Elliott's patented steering knuckle mechanism? Every car manufacturer paid royalties to Elliott for use of this patent until it expired in 1907. It was because of Sterling's love of cars that his son, Harmon Elliott, became such an avid collector and created the Elliott Museum as a tribute to his father's inventions. Our new museum will include one of the largest collections of Ford Model A commercial vehicles in the United States!
